I've just spent a night recovering after surgery and feel much better this morning. I've had a number of appointments here this year building up to the last resort for a herniated disc. At every visit and more so whilst staying overnight, all the staff that work here genuinely care about your health and well being, that is clearly evident in the way they work. My consultant (Mr Alex Baker) has been fantastic throughout I his advice and treatment. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable and the staff simply can't do enough for you.

I was referred to Euxton Hall by my GP. I had opted to be treated privately as I had heard that Euxton Hall had state of the art diagnostic equipment. I was offered an appointment almost immediately. From the moment I arrived I was treated with kindness and courtesy and I had complete confidence in the consultant, Mr Harland. A breast care nurse, Sarah, was present throughout and she was just wonderful. Very sympathetic and reassuring. She also chased my results and let me know the outcome as soon as she could. Fortunately, the lump Mr Harland found was benign, but if it hadn't been I would have been very happy to continue my treatment with him.

I was referred to Mr Shah by my GP when my periods became troublesome (painful & heavy) and I was experiencing abdominal discomfort most of the month. My uterus also felt suspiciously lumpy). I was given an appointment within 1 week to see Mr Shah. On arrival we (I took a friend as moral support) were asked to wait in the Premier lounge which was lovely and were given tokens for the fancy coffee machine! My appointment was on time and I was examined by Mr Shah who said he could definitely feel fibroids and advised me to have a scan to determine the size and number of them, we could then decide what to do about them. Mr Shah was very good, he explained in simple terms, even drawing a diagram for me! He told me to make an appointment to see him after my scan. I went to the desk to book a scan and was told that I could have it within the hour if I could hang on so I did! My scan revealed numerous fibroids but they were all small. Everything else was normal so I was very relieved. I saw Mr Shah at the same time the following week. He told me that no treatment was technically necessary but advised a repeat scan in 12 months unless my periods became unbearable in which case to come back sooner. He drew another diagram too! At all times he was very friendly, professional and courteous. My friend and I commented on his excellent manner and I felt very at ease. All the staff we came into contact with were polite and charming. I would thoroughly recommend Euxton Hall, you cannot put a price on peace of mind and I would still be waiting many weeks for my initial consultation under the NHS.
