This hospital is by far the best establishment I have ever set foot in.. my journey started with a last minute phone call of the morning of my operation to tell me my surgeon was very unwell and could not perform my operation, however I wasn't turned away, me and my partner were put up in the golden jubilee hotel for 2 nights until another surgeon was available to do my surgery, the day I attended I was only in the hospital 1.5 hours and I had had a chest X-ray, an ECG, MrSA screening and bloods taken, there was no hanging about, the staff were all an absolute delight, one even French plaited my hair and made me a cup of tea at 4am in the High dependancy unit after my surgery.. xx
