I attended Rowley for a gynaecological consultation and again for a hysteroscopy outpatient procedure. The care I received under consultant Mr Kirk Chin, whose knowledge, confidence and humour make him a memorable person, was outstanding. He and all the outpatient staff acted with kindness and efficiency. Communication was excellent and timely throughout. These were done as self-pay private care and worth every penny. I cannot recommend Rowley, and particularly Mr Chin, highly enough!

From the moment I entered the hospital the reception, care and treatment was second to none. I was shown to my room which was spotless light and fresh. I was visited regularly by both my consultant Miss Bathula and other members of the team explaining the procedure and what to expect. This helped elevate any fears I had and prepared me for the operation. I was taken down to theatre where the reception was extremely considerate. When I woke up from surgery the nurses were fantastic, assisting me with pain relief when required. They were so attentive. During my recovery the care, friendliness, service and food was excellent. I would recommend anyone having a surgery to really consider Rowley Hall. You will find a difficult experience better than you could imagine.

i was booked in at rowley hall for a hernia repair operation at 12 noon on 20/07/2012, i arrived a little early but it was not a problem i was asked to wait in the waiting area and shortly afterwards a nurse came to take me to the day ward and showed me to my own cubicle, which was all spotless the whole area was very clean. the nurse came to me to explain the procedure, followed by my surgeon and the anaesthetic team. all of the staff where very attentive, caring and reassuring, which to me was very reassuring as i was nervous as i have never had an operation before. i was only in the cubicle for about an hour, then was told it was time to go for the operation, i walked the very short distance to theatre accompananied by a nurse and anisthectic staff. i was met by the anisthectic team who were all very nice, talking to me all the time they were preping me for the op. next thing i know i'm waking up in the recovery room having had a sucessfull operation, i was transferred back to the day care unit and monitered for a while then asked if would like a tea or coffee and some biscuits, and very nice they were! i stayed for little while longer and was told at about 5pm that i could go home. i am writing this reveiw on the 16/08/2012 and feel fully recovered from my operation and soon will be ready to go back to work. i would highly recommend rowley hall hospital and their staff and would not hesitate to go back there for any procedure i may have to have in the future. thank you all very much.

From the first attendance at the open evening for Laser surgery I must admit that the attention to care, comfort and awareness were always upermost in the staffs attitude to the patient. All steps were explained and the moment the surgeon finished the after care kicked. I cannot congratulate the team more. People will say. "well you should get that amount of cosseting, when you pay for it". Well I think they went that bit further. Always a smile and a kind word, nothing to much trouble. Finally the surgeon Mr Illango. He took the time to explain the full procedure prior to the surgery and spent time to explain healing etc during aftercare.. well done

The treatment I recieved was very professional and caring from my initial assessment appointment right through to my follow up care. I was only ever seen by the consultant for all appointments and he was available to me for any queries I had between appointments. His manner/approach was very reassuring and he took the time to explain the proceedure, etc fully and answer all questions that I had. The hospital was clean and a pleasant environment and all of my appointments were on time. I found the experience to be a positive one and one that I am glad to have had done - my eye sight is now perfect and I no longer need the contact lenses or glasses that I have depended on for the past 30yrs.
