I attended Renacres hospital under the care of Mr O Donnell Ophthalmic Consultant Surgeon. The operation was being carried out as a day patient under local anaesthetic and the whole process was well organised, at all stages explanations were given and an opportunity to ask questions. While no operation is stress free and one on your eyes is particularly stressful everything possible was done to manage and reduce the stress. The operation was carried out quickly, professionally and seems successfully I am now waiting for the other eye to be done but have functional sight between the 2 eyes.
