Firstly, I want to thank nurse Maggie Hunt who was assigned to me for the pre-op assessment. What a lovely lady - with a wicked sense of humour - who put my mind completely at rest prior to the long operation I was about to have. She was also the first person I met when I arrived for the operation and she found the time to call in to check that I was OK before and after the event. Maggie Hunt is a credit to the hospital.



I would also like to mention Claudia Van Der Stok who was there on the last day and signed me out. She was kind, gentle and quietly efficient, and she, too, has a great sense of humour.



Thank you to all, including anaesthetist and theatre staff, for looking after me so well from admission on 13 December to discharge on 16 December; sorry that I cannot name you all here as I didn't keep a note of your names.

10 years of misery came to an end thanks to Mr Cunliffe and all the staff at Mount Stuart.

Staff at all levels made sure I was told everything I needed to know without me having to ask. the only reason some categories have received a 4 rating is to emphasise the excellent patient communication

so important to someone like me who suffered not only dental phobia but a dread of all things and people medical
