Andrew Flood: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Southampton

Mr Andrew Flood is a highly esteemed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 28 years' experience, specialising in hip and knee replacements, including primary and revision surgeries, as well as foot and ankle procedures.  

 

After obtaining his MBBS from King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1996, Mr Flood completed his specialist orthopaedic training at Barts and The London, undertaking placements at Colchester, Whipps Cross, Southend, Chelmsford, Newham, and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Orthopaedic Association.  

 

Mr Flood is currently Lead Orthopaedic Surgeon at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton, where he performs over 205 procedures annually. His surgical expertise includes hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy, and foot and ankle surgeries, such as bunion removal and tendon repair. In addition to his clinical work, he holds managerial responsibilities and conducts annual medical appraisals for fellow doctors and surgeons.
