Mr Jonathan Lucas is Head of Service for Paediatric Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery at the Evelina Children's Hospital at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals (GSTT) and lead clinician for the Portland Scoliosis and Spinal Surgery Centre. His extensive training includes specialised spinal surgical training as a Spinal Fellow at the Centre for Spinal Surgery, Queen Medical Centre, Nottingham and spinal training on a British Orthopaedic Association Travelling Fellowship to renowned centres in the USA. He has refined his specialism to the management and surgery of the paediatric and young adult spine, treating conditions such as scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis/spondylolysis, disc pathology with back and sciatic pain, paediatric spinal trauma, tumour and infection/sepsis. To date, Mr Lucas has performed over 1058 scoliosis and kyphosis operations.
