Adrian Casey: Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon in London
Mr Adrian Casey holds a joint Consultant appointment with The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore (Spinal Unit) and The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Queen Square (UCLH). He was the first neurosurgeon in the UK to be appointed purely as a spinal surgeon. His appointment was designed to combine the two major disciplines involving the spine, i.e. orthopaedics and neurosurgery. He is an honorary senior lecturer at the Institute of Orthopaedics and Institute of Neurology at UCL and is a tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons, AO Spinal Foundation and Expert International Faculty for De Puy Spine. Mr Casey's clinical interests include all aspects of the spine, including neck and back pain, spinal stabilisation and artificial disc technology, cervical myelopathy, lumbar canal stenosis and spinal tumours. He is available for private consultation at The Wellington Hospital.
